Lipless & Mahalo teamed up earlier this year to release the quaint and calming “Falling” with Carly Page. Now as we get to the end of the year, rising producer LöKii has taken the original and given it a much harder edge.
Whereas the original has a very delicate flow to it, LöKii’s interpretation calls upon far more grit. Even from the first snare, you can tell that this one is just going to hit different. By the time you reach the drop, you’re met with a heavier bass house tone.
The lyrics from Carly Page are kept basically intact, though chopped up a bit ahead of the drop for supreme suspense. Apart from that, this is all LöKii at his best.
